Copper ants, a prototype for a jewelllry collection, 2019

Inspired by ant colonies, Zelleke created this piece exploring how ants work as one large organism, supporting each other with out question. 'Their team work is unmatched within the animal kingdom, and we could all learn something from them.' No one can do anything without a little help.

No ants were harmed in the making of this piece, and each individual ant is to scale with the Dinoponera species.
